Here is a list of all the jobs to do on site here on Jura. For Wwoofers and WorkAwayers please assess the work and what skills you can bring to the project and what tools you might need, can you bring tools or would you like us to supply? We have some power tools but just shout if you want to suggest something specific and we'll see if we can get it on the island.
The priority is to get the site cleared up and ready for renting the cottage by April 1st 2022. We also have two holiday lets with land on Islay that also needs getting ready for the season. We then need to get Jura's plot ready for two more huts.
Renovation of cottage
The cottage is so nearly there. We need to finish off the renovation and build a spa area for the wood fired hot tub and sauna (all here on site). Here's our current (ever evolving) list of jobs to do but we'd love someone to take the reigns of this and go for it happy for someone to make their mark.

The site is an acre. It's seen some transformation already but still a lot to do. We will get the digger back to clear a lot mechanically. Open to creative thinking, help us make the site have 3 pockets of private units for accommodation.

Neighbouring Holiday Cottages on Islay
We have two houses on Islay that we rent out. We need to get the houses and the gardens ready for the season.

There is paid work here for cleaning / changeovers if guests are staying. £85 for a changeover or £12 p/h for any cleaning with me. Changeovers include:

If the houses aren't being used you are welcome to stay over on Islay and explore Islay. There are some bookings in March and the season really starts in April

the shed
This is our shed!
We converted it inside to house building standard. Its end goal is the front room to be a retreat space for meditation, yoga, workshops, crafts, recreation etc...
We lived in it for a year whilst we built our house. It has a shower, washing machine, cooking facilities, wifi, underfloor heating, pool table, table tennis, air hocky and our Peloton bike.
We still have lots to do to make it ready for our retreat and you are welcome to use it.
